  On August 25, 2026, PTC Therapeutics, Inc. (the "Company") entered into an asset purchase agreement (the "Asset Purchase Agreement") with Sangamo Therapeutics, Inc. ("Sangamo"), pursuant to which the Company agreed to acquire from Sangamo, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Asset Purchase Agreement, all of Sangamo's right, title and interest in and to the assets primarily related to ST-920, a one-time administered AAV gene therapy product candidate for Fabry disease... for an upfront payment of $111 million, plus up to an additional $100 million in contingent milestone payments.

  PTC Therapeutics, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release in which it announced that the Company was selected as the winning bidder to acquire ST-920, a BLA-stage one-time administered AAV gene therapy product candidate for Fabry disease, from Sangamo Therapeutics, Inc. ("Sangamo"), in a competitive bankruptcy auction. The terms of the Acquisition include a $111 million upfront payment and up to $100 million in contingent milestone payments, comprised of $80 million upon receiving accelerated approval and $20 million upon receiving traditional or full approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration ("FDA").

  On July 28, 2026, the Company appointed Hege Sollie-Zetlmayer to its board of directors (the "Board"), effective immediately, filling a vacancy on the Board. Ms. Sollie-Zetlmayer will serve as a Class III director with a term expiring at the annual meeting of stockholders to be held in 2028. Ms. Sollie-Zetlmayer has 30 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical and medical device industry, including the last eight with PTC Therapeutics, Inc.
